How Wing Snob Was Born

It started with an obsession. Founder Marcus Cole spent years tasting wings across the country, never quite finding the combination of bold flavors, crispy texture, and thoughtfully crafted sauces he craved. So in 2015, he opened Wing Snob in Warrenville, IL — a place where being particular about your wings isn't a flaw, it's the point.

The wing snob philosophy is simple: refuse to compromise. We source our chicken fresh daily, hand-toss every order in house-made sauces, and treat each plate as a direct expression of our craft. From day one, word spread fast that something different had arrived in Illinois.

2015
The First Wing

Marcus Cole opens Wing Snob at 2S723 Rte 59, Warrenville, IL. The first night sells out every wing in the kitchen. Word spreads fast through the community.

2016
The Sauce Lab Is Born

We hire our first dedicated Sauce Alchemist and create the Wing Snob Sauce Lab — a dedicated space for developing new flavors. Our signature "Crimson Honey" sauce debuts to rave reviews.

2018
Best Wings in Illinois

Chicago Tribune names Wing Snob one of the top wing spots in the state. Overnight demand doubles. We expand our kitchen and double our team to keep up with the love.

2020
Adapting & Growing

When dining rooms close, we launch contactless curbside pickup and wing kits for home cooking. Our community rallies around us and online orders surge 300%.

2022
The Wingsnob Loyalty Club

We launch our digital loyalty program with over 8,000 members joining in the first month. Custom rewards, early access to new sauces, and members-only events.

A Decade of Craft
